We are very excited with the progress that is being made on our website at the moment. The web design is in place and content is flying into place too, with web design news, contact pages, portfolio pages already built, or at the moment being planned or built. The whole website has a clear focus and direction now and hopefully will be launched within the next couple of weeks. Obviously the website launch will be announced on this blog when that happens. The website launch will also be backed by the full population of pages on Facebook, group on LinkedIn and posts to Twitter. News from the website will also get posted to Twitter via TwitterFeed. There is a plan to get the name of Mediasmith Web Design known quickly and drive traffic to the site before the real marketing efforts begin.

We will be optimising the website as an ongoing project as there is some well established competition out there performing well in the search engines. But over time we will develop and compete with them for position. When the web design website is up and running we will be able to focus some effort on giving out tips and providing help via this blog to enable it to become a useful web designer and webmaster resource for web designers and website owners all over the UK.
